HUSH.  But, although his passion has always been for horror films, it's only been in the last five years that he's come into his own in the field. One might say that is symantics, but if you ask Bill Dever, the man behind the annual gathering of B Movie fans and filmmakers in Franklin, Indiana called The B Movie Celebration, he’d say it isn’t just the choice of one word over another. “A film festival is an event where filmmakers try to sell their product. This [B Movie Celebration] is more than that. It’s a chance for people with a love of B movies and independent films to come together and share the joy these films bring to them.”

The B Movie Celebration is an event unlike any other. Part film festival, part educational symposium and part circus. Director Rick Amundson introduces us to Donnie, an ex-con who's just been released from prison. His body is covered with tattoos and they tell his story. It's not a happy story, but Donnie hopes to make it a better one by reconnecting with his daughter, if his past doesn't come back to haunt him first.

As cheerleaders go, Nikki isn’t a very good one. She’s got a bad attitude, a punk haircut and wears dark, goth make-up. That’s OK though, because in Kerry Beyer’s ode to 80’s slasher films, SPIRIT CAMP, when the psycho killer shows up, she’s the one who drops her pom-poms and grabs a shotgun.

While firearm wielding cheerleaders are interesting, Nikki’s real life alter-ego, actress and model Roxy Vandiver, is even more fascinating.

A native Texan, Roxy proudly states that she can beat you at chess or movie trivia, and she loves to make art of all types.
